This summer MacGuffin is offering 8, 1-week theatre camps for youth ages 7-10/11. Each week will feature a different musical. The camps will be held Monday – Friday from 9:30am – 3:30pm. On the Friday of each week there will be a performance at 7pm. Sign up for one or ALL of them! These camps will get you in sync with your fellow actors and having a great time. Learn to project your voice, take your dance moves to the next level, and interpret these fantastic songs and texts as only you can.
Here’s how it will work:
1. Sign up for camp! Click the button below.
2. In May we’ll announce the audition songs or monologues for the musical or play.
3. Practice and memorize your audition song or monologue.
4. On Day 1 everyone in the camp will audition for your directors, Jen Jaynes, Joey Schulman and/or Tina Lynch.
5. The cast is announced. Rehearsals begin. The schedule is below.
6. Perform your show on the Friday night of your week-long camp at 7pm (except for Fridays July 26, August 2 and August 9 performances which will be at 5pm)

Week 8 will feature the musical, Mary Poppins Jr. August 12-16
Based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical that played for over 2,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect Broadway Junior musical!
The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”
