We are offering special Living History tours on May 14 at 2:15 and 4:15.  Come meet George Griffin, Mark Twain's butler.  Imagine you are applying to work as a cook in Mark Twain's house in 1885. You interview with the butler to learn about working in the home. He will show you about the house, and share his experiences as a long time employee of the Clemens family.  Reservations are required for the tour.

Are you coming for The Life and Legacy of George Griffin: A Trouble Begins Special Event at 6:00?  Join us early to meet Mr. Griffin and see the house with him.  Both of the special tour times are intended to get you back to the museum center in time for the pasta reception at 5:30 and the lecture at 6:00 when our special guests will introduce new scholarship about the real historical person.
