Prerequisites: A laptop or tablet with wireless internet connectivity
In Sketch 201, students build off the comedy writing fundamentals they learned in Sketch 101, broadening their understanding of sketch and character archetypes, bolstering their writing skills as well as being introduced to collaborative content creation. Students will learn and practice the art of pitching an original idea, riffing in a writer’s room setting, offering punch-up ideas, co-writing, and re-writing.
Deliverables after 201:
-Quick Premise Heighten Sketch
-Archetypal Sketch (Fish Out of Water, Clash of Context, Impossible Task, Center/Eccentrics)
