DRESS CODE: (ALL BLACK)
Ushers should look professional (business casual). Below are the minimum guidelines for attire:
collared shirt (tie not required)
dress pants, skirt, or dress
blouse or nice sweater
Unacceptable items - jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, sandals/flip-flops, sweatshirts/sweat pants, tank tops and shorts. If an usher reports to the venue in apparel that is deemed inappropriate, the usher will be excused.
PRE-SHOW TRAINING
There are a number of NEW pre-show procedures involving ushers for this season, including:
mobile tickets
barcode scanning for tickets
COVID safety guidelines
NEED TO CHANGE YOUR VOLUNTEER SHIFT?
If you cannot usher on the date above,
YOU MUST CALL the Horowitz Center Box Office at 443-518-1500 ext 0.
Leave a detailed message, including your name and phone number. A Box Office Attendant will call you back the following business day to reschedule if there are still usher slots remaining for the run of the show.
USHER CREDIT
24 hours after you have completed your ushering shift, you will receive an usher shift completion email. This will verify that you completed your usher shift and it will indicate the number of volunteer hours available for the shift. Ushers who do not report for their shifts WILL NOT receive credit.
