Ford Hall Forum at Suffolk University and Brandeis University Press invite you to join us for the first event in our Inaugural Book Festival.

Luisa Neubauer, acclaimed German climate activist will discuss her recent book, Beginning to End the Climate Crisis: A History of Our Future. Brandeis University scholar Sabine von Mering, co-editor of the forthcoming Routledge Handbook of Grassroots Climate Activism, and Jule Manitz, a climate justice activist with Extinction Rebellion Boston will join the conversation. Beth Daley, executive editor and general manager of The Conversation and a Pulitzer Prize finalist for climate reporting at The Boston Globe will serve as the evening's moderator.

TICKETS: Admission is FREE. Tickets are required. 

Online ticket registration will close at 4:00pm on 9/19, two hours prior to the event's start time. 

If the event is not sold out, walk-up tickets will be available to reserve in-person at the Modern Theatre box office, starting at 5:00pm on 9/19.

If you arrive and the theatre and the event is sold out, you may add your name to the waitlist. Any unclaimed tickets will be released to the waitlist at 5:50pm, ten minutes before the event's start time. 

ARRIVAL: The Modern Theatre lobby and box office will open at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 19th, one hour before the event's start time.

All tickets that have not been checked in will be released to the waitlist at 5:50pm on Thursday, 9/19, 10 minutes before the event's start time.

Please arrive at the theatre no later than 5:45pm and check in at the box office before your tickets are released to the waitlist.

RUNNING LATE? Please call the Modern Theatre at (617) 557-6537 or email the Modern Theatre at boxoffice@suffolk.edu to ensure your tickets are not released to the wait list.

Late seating will be permitted during appropriate breaks in the event, at the Front of House Manager’s discretion.

Please arrive on time, no less than 15 minutes before the event’s start time.
