Prerequisites:
-Must have taken Sketch 101
-Must have taken Sketch 201 OR Improv 101/ Standup 101
We will have two signup options for the class Writer ONLY and Writer/ Performer, please make sure to select the option you are most interested in. Final enrollment will be based on instructor approval, you receive an email 24-48 hours after signup with confirmation of your enrollment.
Using the principles, knowledge, and skills developed in previous sketch classes, students are tasked with collaboratively writing, creating, and performing a 45 minute all original live sketch comedy show. Students will expand their writing repertoire, learn running order structure, produce their sketches, and direct performers of their material culminating with a 2 performance run at The Westside.
Deliverables after Sketch 301
- An ensemble written and performed live sketch comedy show with a 2 performance run at The Westside.
*The first performance will be between week 7 and 8. The Final performance will be after week 8.*
Class sizes are limited. For enrolled students a confirmation welcome email will be sent 48 before the start of the first class. There are no refunds or transfers on tuition. Thank you!
