Available for students in Overture, Act 1, and Act 2, our Extended Day program offers a fun and relaxed end to the Summer Festival day. Running Monday–Thursday, July 7–31, students enjoy theatre games, crafts, storytelling, and more from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Greater Boston Stage Company.


Led by teaching artist Erin Faria and supported by our Summer Festival Interns, Extended Day provides a rotating mix of creative activities such as playbill making, friendship bracelets, beaded suncatchers, and skit writing. Students are walked from Central Middle School to the theatre each afternoon by staff.


Pricing:

  • Single Week: $120

  • Four-Week Bundle: $400

Note: Extended Day is not available on Fridays or during Tech Week (Week 5). Registration closes the Thursday before each week begins.
