Join us for a transformative three-week acting class focused on mastering the art of auditioning via Zoom! In today's digital landscape, remote auditions and callbacks have become the norm, and this class will equip you with the essential skills to shine in virtual settings.
Week 1 & 2 (virtual via Zoom): We’ll dive into the technical aspects of Zoom, exploring how to set up your space, optimize lighting, and troubleshoot common issues. You’ll practice different audition scenarios, learning how to effectively present your work while navigating the virtual platform.
Week 3 (in-studio): We’ll transition to an in-studio experience, simulating a callback where actors are present in the room while the director joins virtually. This unique setup will help you build confidence and adaptability, ensuring you're prepared for any audition situation. Casting associate, Melissa Morris, CSA will join the class virtually that night!
Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and stand out in the competitive world of virtual auditions! Whether you're new to Zoom or looking to refine your approach, this class is designed to help you engage effectively with scene partners and directors, making your online auditions a success.
TESTIMONIAL:
Justin Phillips is an excellent acting teacher. Recently I took “ Mastering The Zoom Audition” taught at Boston Casting. With an abundance of energy and enthusiasm, Justin created a safe space for actors to work, while at the same time encouraging us in a constructive way to take risks. I was grateful to him for the individual attention he gave me and others during the class. I recommend for any actor whether a beginner or advanced to study with him at the studio. -Alfred P.
