Step into the world of television with a 3-day acting intensive led by Disney/Nickelodeon director Wendy Faraone! This hands-on program is designed to simulate a real week on a multicam comedy set—from table reads to final "network" run-throughs. Students will act on camera and take on behind-the-scenes roles such as Assistant Director, Camera Operator, Script Supervisor, and more—offering a full 360° understanding of how a TV episode is brought to life. Scenes will be filmed on the last day! What to Expect: - Day 1 (Tuesday): Table read, character discussion, and casting of creative production roles
- Day 2 (Wednesday): Rehearsals, producer run-through, and network-style run-through
- Day 3 (Thursday): Shoot day – film scenes and Q&A with parents (last 20 minutes of the class)
Students will bring their character ideas to life—costume choices, backstory, and more—and collaborate on scenes just like they would on a professional set. The experience also includes improv games, team bonding, and creative exploration—just like a real TV set environment! Parents are invited to a Q&A for the last 20 minutes of class on July 17th.
ABOUT WENDY: Wendy Faraone is a dynamic and influential director in television and film. Wendy started out in the industry as an on set acting coach and worked on nearly 300 television episodes. Toward the end of her coaching years, she was honored to be asked to direct "Liv and Maddie" on Disney Channel.
