Get ready to bring the funny! In this on-camera workshop, students will work on scenes from top sitcoms—including hit shows from network television as well as Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Led by acclaimed director and on-set acting coach Wendy Faraone (Liv & Maddie, That Girl Lay Lay, Bunk’d), this workshop will dive into the specific skills needed to succeed in multi-cam comedy.
Wendy will guide students through blocking and camera techniques, teach key television terminology, and provide individual coaching to help actors break down scripts, find the jokes, make bold character choices, and deliver standout auditions.
Scenes will be filmed and shared with students after the workshop for review. The session wraps with a Q&A, where students can ask Wendy about the industry, the audition process, and working on-set.
Whether you're aiming for network comedy or Disney/Nick stardom, this workshop will help you sharpen your sitcom chops and bring your comedic skills to the next level!
