Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking
technique in which an image is scratched into a metal or plastic plate using
conventional and non-conventional tools to create a distinctive soft, velvety
line. This is a great medium for those who like to draw and is equally
accessible to for those who prefer to bring an image that can be placed under
a clear plastic plate to guide your mark making. Abstract and
representational images are both compatible with this process.
