The Empty Space Theatre Presents
Ada
A Play By Aeneas Sagar Hemphill
Directed by Naomi Hopkins
October 23 and 25, 7:00 pm
October 24, 2:00pm

In a not-so-distant future Ada, a worker of artificial intelligence, disrupts her workplace's carefully maintained power dynamics by becoming a little too human to contain. Joan, her superior and creator, must then reckon with the consequences of her influence on Ada while at the same time attempting to suppress the rebellious urges of her daughter, Amy. Ada follows these women, their family, and coworkers as they confront the imperfections of their "perfect" world.

The Empty Space Theater is the faculty-led theater company cosponsored by BabsonARTS and the Division of Arts and Humanities.  Led by Artistic Director and Professor Beth Wynstra, TEST’s objective is to produce socially relevant, thought-provoking and compelling plays and musicals to strengthen and formalize curricular ties in ways rewarding to both participants and audiences.

Ada is presented by special arrangement with Aeneas Sagar Hemphill.

This event will be held in the Carling-Sorenson Theatre.
All Tickets $5.00
