In collaboration with the Ukrainian Cultural Initiative, explore the rich tradition of pysanky (decorated Ukrainian Easter eggs) with artist and ethnographer, Sofika Zielyk.  Learn about the myths, symbols and legends of this pre-Christian unique art form and how it evolved through the centuries.  Using the traditional batik, wax resistant technique, create a one-of-a-kind pysanka of your own.  Just bring your creativity and curiosity!  www.sofika.com
