Join renowned acting coach Anthony L. Gilardi of Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio in Hollywood, for a dynamic, hands-on workshop designed to elevate your craft and deepen your connection to character and story. This four-hour intensive will equip actors with the essential tools needed to create layered, compelling performances rooted in truth and specificity.
Through a focused curriculum, participants will explore:
-Script analysis: beats, objectives, and obstacles
-Character development: psychology, physicality, and emotional arcs
-In-the-moment spontaneity and emotional availability
-Collaborative scene work and partner exercises
-Unique in-character interview designed to unlock authenticity and imagination
-Live scene study work with constructive feedback session
Actors will be assigned scenes in advance.
Space is limited and early registration is required.

About Anthony L. Gilardi:
Anthony L. Gilardi is best known as the founder of the renowned Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio in Hollywood, established in 2012. Since its inception, the studio has become a respected training ground for working actors, including 2024 Emmy Award winner Lamorne Morris (Fargo, Season 5), who began his craft under Anthony’s mentorship.
In 2015, Anthony founded the nonprofit organization HIPPOLife, dedicated to Healing Through the Arts. Through this initiative, he continues to provide transformative creative experiences to underserved communities, including combat veterans, marginalized groups, and individuals with disabilities.
With a teaching career that began in 2009, Anthony has earned a reputation as a passionate and empowering coach. His background in theatre directing laid the foundation for a seamless transition into film and television, where his work is often compared to visionary filmmakers such as John Cassavetes, Martin Scorsese, and Quentin Tarantino. His films blend dark and light humor with socially conscious themes and a touch of the fantastical—what he describes as “mixing the medicine in with the food.”
A staunch advocate for diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry, Anthony is intentional in both his casting and hiring practices, ensuring that representation is a cornerstone of every project.
