GRAMMY-winning drummer and composer Dafnis Prieto blends his Cuban heritage with a forward-looking musical vision. A master storyteller and MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship recipient, Prieto crafts musical narratives through beautiful melodies and powerful rhythms. 

After sold-out seasons with guests like Chucho Valdés, Michel Camilo, and Gema y Pavel, this year’s concert will again feature surprise artists to be announced in the spring. Expect brand-new music alongside selections from Prieto’s GRAMMY-winning album Back to the Sunset—all brought to life by his powerhouse ensemble.
