The Frost Studio Jazz Band welcomes acclaimed composer, arranger, and conductor Darcy James Argue. 

A 2015 Guggenheim Fellow and current composer-in-residence with Germany’s HR Big Band, Argue is best known as the founder of Secret Society, the 18-piece ensemble “renowned in the jazz world” (The New York Times). Fusing jazz tradition with modern sonics, he has earned multiple GRAMMY nominations, a Latin GRAMMY, a Doris Duke Artist Award, and praise from Stereophile as “one of the top big-band composers of our time.”
