Creative Bookmaking

In this class, we will focus primarily on creating two types of books. An accordion book, a book with many folds that opens up like an accordion, or concertina and a tunnel book. Students will build on the skills learned from making the accordion book and will create a tunnel book that creates layers by adding removable panels to suggest depth. Once your books are constructed, students  will have the opportunity to fill in the pages with drawing, painting, collage, and other mixed media.

During the checkout process, you will be given an option to purchase ticket insurance called XCover, which is offered by the AudienceView ticketing platform we use for registration, NOT by MCA. Please do not purchase this insurance for Education programming. If you need to withdraw from an MCA class, email registration@mosesianarts.org. Withdrawals requested at least 5 business days before the first class meeting will be refunded minus a $35 admin fee. Late withdrawals due to illness or other emergency circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
