In honor of Women’s History Month and Francophonie Month, this concert offers a wide-ranging look at jazz’s global reach and the under-represented voices that have shaped it. Classic French and Francophone standards share the program with works by women composers whose contributions have too often been overlooked. 

The repertoire highlights lyrical French melodies and fresh modern charts that reflect women’s perspectives on the music’s past and future. This concert continues the band’s tradition of spotlighting diverse voices in jazz.
