This class explores a variety of mixed media techniques as participants learn to combine materials in order to express their personal journeys and/or perspectives on larger issues. The class uses a group feedback model to help generate ideas and push each other’s artistic expression to new levels. The group encourages creativity through the re-framing of traditional “mistakes” into new and transformative opportunities. Students at all stages of artistic experience are welcome. Materials needed vary by student and will be addressed in class.

During the checkout process, you will be given an option to purchase ticket insurance called XCover, which is offered by the AudienceView ticketing platform we use for registration, NOT by MCA. Please do not purchase this insurance for Education programming. If you need to withdraw from an MCA class, email registration@mosesianarts.org. Withdrawals requested at least 5 business days before the first class meeting will be refunded minus a $35 admin fee. Late withdrawals due to illness or other emergency circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
