Step into the historic Mark Twain House for an evening where poetry and tarot intertwine. Poet Laureate of Glastonbury Victoria Nordlund will guide you in creating original poems inspired by the iconic Rider-Waite Tarot Deck and the gorgeous Gilded Age rooms of Mark Twain's Hartford mansion. This workshop welcomes writers of all levels.
The evening doesn't end there! While a personal reading is not part of the workshop itself, participants can also receive an optional tarot reading by Victoria or bone reading by fiction writer Kristi Schoonover before or after the workshop.
Celebrate the season of mystery and imagination with words, symbols, and story in an unforgettable setting.
Tickets are $75 per person; $65 for museum members. All tickets include a tarot deck to keep and an optional free tarot/bone reading. Make the night even spookier by adding a ghost tour of the historic house!
