The Statue
created by Paul St. Cyr
produced by AJ Aversano & Nate Kelleher
In a world where statues fall as often as they rise, The Statue is a play that explores what happens when one shows up... uninvited. No plaque. No artist. No meaning. Just stone— and the chaos it unleashes in a town that can't agree on what it stands for— forcing its residents to confront questions of art, commerce, faith, and identity.
As cultural symbols and public space remain battlegrounds, this play is both a satire and a searing reflection of the moment we're living through.
It's simple, elegant, convenient answer to everything.
