Wendy Faraone is back by popular demand! Join Wendy Faraone, a director for Disney Channel and other major networks, for a rare audition-focused intensive created specifically for adult actors. In this one-day workshop, you'll learn what casting directors and TV directors really look for in an on-camera audition - and how to deliver it consistently.
Actors will work on audition sides from network television shows, learning how to break down a scene, make bold choices, and adjust performances with quick turnaround direction - just like in a real casting session. Each scene will be filmed, played back for critique, and reviewed with individualized feedback from Wendy.
Whether you’re actively auditioning or getting back in the game, this class will sharpen your audition technique and give you insider tools to book the room. Workshop ends with a Q&A where Wendy will share insights from the director’s chair and answer your questions about casting, callbacks, and working in television.
Open to adult actors 18+ (and mature 16 & 17 year olds) with some prior on-camera or audition experience.

ABOUT WENDY:

Wendy Faraone is a dynamic and influential director in television and film. Wendy started out in the industry as an on set acting coach and worked on nearly 300 television episodes. Toward the end of her coaching years, she was honored to be asked to direct "Liv and Maddie" on Disney Channel. After a successful first episode, the network had Wendy pilot a program for women directors, and in the last 7 years she has directed over 100 episodes and 3 pilots. Wendy was the first woman to direct a pilot at Nickelodeon.

Wendy's true passion is in film and single camera work. Recently, Wendy has directed a holiday feature film shot in The Highlands of Scotland titled, "Saving Christmas Spirit." It was sold to AMC and is also streaming on Amazon, Peacock and Tubi. Wendy is on contract to direct a thriller that will be a theatrical release with John C. Hall and Bellator Productions. She has produced and directed a single camera comedy pitch presentation titled, "Lake Tuna" and is in development on 2 different comedies as well as 3 more feature films. Wendy is thrilled to be playing a major role in changing the percentage of women directors in Hollywood, and she succeeds with every opportunity given to her.
