This course is geared towards anyone interested in learning the foundation of voice over technique, all from the comfort of your living room! With an emphasis on story telling and strong acting, we’ll cover commercials, animation, script analysis, improvising for voice over, and getting comfortable behind the mic. As the industry pushes itself further into remote recording, here’s your chance to get in! No prior voice over experience necessary.

Class 1. Commercial Introduction - “The Story"
Class 2. Commercial Technique - “Character and Improv"
Class 3. Intro to Animation - “Bringing in Life"
Class 4. Mock Recording of a TV Animation Episode - “The Finale”
About the instructor:
Daniel is an actor and voice actor based in Los Angeles with an extensive improv background. He received his BFA in acting from Emerson College and has trained at The Groundlings Theater, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and Improv Olympic West. He’s currently cast in Nickelodeon's BIG NATE, LEGO City Adventures on Netflix, as well as Lucy WOW on the GoKidGo podcast network. Past TV/Film credits include: Body of Proof (ABC), Stormageddon (Syfy), Fixed (Amazon), Neon Genesis Evangelion (Netflix) and Cagaster of an Insect Cage (Netflix). Regional Theater: American Misfit (The Boston Court Theatre), Nicholas Nickleby (The Lyric Stage Company).
