Pre-requisite: this class is geared towards actors who have some experience, such as an acting class or have been on set as a background actor. This class is not recommended for new actors (if you're a new actor, please check out Screen Acting 101).
Joe Smith has been a professional working actor for 30 years, in Boston then LA, earning his bread and butter with commercials. He has also taught commercial acting, both live & virtually, for many years, and can help YOU in this competitive and lucrative corner of the acting world.
This class will cover some acting basics (figuring out the “beats” of the script, making strong creative choices), on-camera technique (eye-lines, framing, etc.) and commercial-specific concerns (conflicts, being consistent with the brand).
