A Conversation with The Gabby Petito Foundation February 3rd, 2026 Carling-Sorenson Theatre Free. Registration Encouraged.
Join the Gabby Petito Foundation, Needham Police, Babson
College Police, Reach Beyond Domestic Violence, and The Second Step for a panel
discussion about domestic violence. Gabby Petito was just 22 years old when she
was murdered by her fiancé in 2021. Her family was never given the opportunity
to face Gabby’s murderer in court, stripping them of the justice they deserved.
To honor Gabby’s legacy, her family has made domestic violence education and
prevention their mission through the Gabby Petito Foundation. Hear
Gabby’s parents, Nichole and Jim Schmidt, tell her story, and educate the
audience on recognizing the signs of domestic violence. Learn about how the
police handle domestic violence calls in the Needham community and what
resources are available. Audience participation in a post panel Q&A is
encouraged.
