The screening will be followed by a talkback with 
director Kendall Moore.

Harm in the Water is a powerful documentary that examines the devastating impact of industrial water pollution on Black communities along the Mississippi River. Through intimate portraits of community members, environmental activists and scientific experts, the film reveals how historical patterns of environmental hazards have created a modern crisis.

Director Kendall Moore takes viewers on a journey through the affected communities, highlighting both the struggles and resilience of residents fighting for clean water and environmental justice. The documentary combines compelling personal stories with rigorous scientific evidence to create an urgent call for change.

Walk-up tickets will be available at the Modern Theatre box office on the day of the event, one hour before the event's scheduled start time, subject to availability.

WAITLIST: If the event is sold out, you may add your name to the waitlist by checking in at the box office on the day of the event. All unclaimed tickets will be released to the waitlist ten minutes before the event's scheduled start time. 

SEATING: This event has General Admission seating. All seats are first-come, first-served.

ARRIVAL: The Modern Theatre lobby and box office will open one hour before the event's scheduled start time.
All unclaimed tickets will be released to the waitlist ten minutes before the event's scheduled start time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the event's scheduled start time and check in at the box office to avoid losing your tickets to the waitlist.

RUNNING LATE? Late seating will be permitted during appropriate breaks in the performance, at the Front of House Manager’s discretion. Please arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before your event's start time.
