Edwin O. Munera: No Land’s Man is a solo guitar performance that explores the question of belonging—how place, memory, and movement shape identity through sound.

Drawing on syncopated dance rhythms from his native Colombia, Munera weaves together musical traditions that span continents. Pentatonic scales shared across the Andes, Asia, Africa, and Irish folk music intersect with Western classical concert forms, creating a contemporary instrumental language that is both sophisticated and deeply accessible. Though rooted in global traditions, the music speaks beyond cultural boundaries, inviting listeners of all backgrounds into a shared experience.

The program features original instrumental works inspired by the many countries and cities Munera has lived in. Each piece reflects a distinct cultural encounter, aesthetic moment, or human and spiritual journey, expressed through a rich and varied musical palette.

No Land’s Man is an intimate and evocative meditation on place, displacement, and the universal search for home.
