ARRIVAL: The Modern Theatre lobby and box office will open one hour before the event's scheduled start time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the event's scheduled start time to check in at the box office and find a seat.
WAITLIST: If a performance is sold out and you need additional tickets, you may add your name to the waitlist by checking in at the Modern Theatre box office on the day of the performance. All unclaimed tickets will be released to the waitlist 10 minutes before the performance's scheduled start time.
RUNNING LATE? Late seating will be permitted during appropriate breaks in the performance, at the Front of House Manager’s discretion. Please arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before your event's start time.
If you are running late, please call (617) 557-6537 or email boxoffice@suffolk.edu to notify the Modern Theatre staff and ensure your tickets are not released to the waitlist.
PROHIBITED & PERMITTED ITEMS: We encourage you to leave valuables, large bags, and other personal belongings at home. Outside food and beverages are not allowed and need to be consumed in the lobby or disposed of before entering the theatre.
There is no coat or bag check at the theatre, and prohibited items will not be stored onsite by venue management.
