Clash of the Titans is a 1981 epic fantasy adventure film loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus (Harry Hamlin). The movie follows the hero's quest to save Princess Andromeda from the wrath of the sea goddess Thetis and the monstrous Kraken. With an all-star cast featuring Laurence Olivier, Burgess Meredith, Maggie Smith and Ursula Andress, The Clash of the Titans is most well-known for its special effects created by Ray Harryhausen.
