What’s the secret to every great acting success story? The audition.
You can have all the talent in the world, but it will never be seen by audiences if you can’t showcase it in the heat of that all important audition. And we all know how difficult it is just to get the audition in the first place.
The workshop begins with a virtual presentation led by Ann & Beth, where actors will learn how to break down a script, identify opportunities in the industry, and effectively market themselves both in-person and online.
Following the virtual session, each actor will meet individually with Ann & Beth for a 10-minute meet-and-greet. During this time, actors will be assigned two scenes: one to perform with the instructors, and one to perform opposite another actor in the workshop.
Participants will then have two weeks to prepare, rehearse, and memorize their material before coming together for the in-person session on May 31. During this session, each actor will perform both scenes and receive real-time direction and feedback. The focus will be on making specific choices, finding motivation, and delivering confident, compelling auditions.
This workshop is capped at 8 students to ensure personalized attention.
Don’t guess what casting is looking for. Auditioning is a craft in itself. Join us to sharpen your skills, elevate your work, and walk into every audition ready to book.
