We present to you BOUNCERS, by John Godber, among the most frequently produced plays in the UK, and named by the National Theatre as one of the "Plays of the Century". It’s a fast-paced romp dramatizing the escapades of young lads and lasses at a hard drinking disco where "there's sex in the air, and the hunt is on”. Four bouncers endeavor to illustrate the madness of the throngs that converge on the discoteque -- embodying a whirlwind of characters, male and female -- in the pulsating debauchery of a typical Friday night.

Walk-up tickets will be available to purchase at the Modern Theatre box office on the day of the event, one hour before the event's scheduled start time, subject to availability.

Please see below for important information to note before your visit to the Modern Theatre:
SEATING: This event has General Admission seating. All seats are first-come, first-served.
ARRIVAL: The Modern Theatre lobby & box office will open one hour before the event's scheduled start time. Doors will open for audience seating approximately 30 minutes before the event’s scheduled start time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the event's scheduled start time to check in at the box office and find a seat.
WAITLIST: If a performance is sold out, you may add your name to the waitlist by checking in at the Modern Theatre box office on the day of the performance. The box office opens one hour before each performance's scheduled start time. All unclaimed tickets will be released to the waitlist 10 minutes before the performance's scheduled start time.
RUNNING LATE? Late seating will be permitted during appropriate breaks in the performance, at the Front of House Manager’s discretion. Please arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before your event's start time.
If you are running late, please call (617) 557-6537 or email boxoffice@suffolk.edu to notify the Modern Theatre staff and ensure your tickets are not released to the waitlist.

PROHIBITED & PERMITTED ITEMS: We encourage you to leave valuables, large bags, and other personal belongings at home. Outside food and beverages are not allowed and need to be consumed in the lobby or disposed of before entering the theatre. There is no coat or bag check at the theatre, and prohibited items will not be stored onsite by venue management.
