Things That Go Bump In The Night
The HCC Film Program invites you to join the Fall 2026 Friday Film Discussions, a virtual series exploring the strange, unsettling, and unforgettable history of horror cinema.
From silent shadows to psychological ghosts, from vampires and zombies to haunted children and unraveling minds, these films reveal what each generation fears most. Some shocked audiences when they premiered. Others quietly crawled under the skin and never left. Together, they chart more than a century of cinematic nightmares.
Offered virtually, the discussion series takes advantage of popular streaming platforms to make access easy for participants. The series works like a book club, but with films: choose the titles that interest you, watch them at your convenience before the scheduled discussion, and join us Friday evenings at 7 p.m. via Zoom for lively conversation and analysis.
The Zoom link will be emailed to registered individuals by noon on each discussion day. If you have questions or problems during registration, contact the Horowitz Center Box Office.
