Experimental Printmaking: Project Development

Work with experienced printmaker Boriana Kantcheva on individual projects. This 9-week class is offered to  students with previous knowledge of techniques such as collagraph, monotype, monoprint and relief printmaking.  Students will work on projects of their own choosing with the help of the instructor. Students will have the opportunity to develop a body of work that utilizes a variety of techniques such as making collagraph plates, monoprints, dry point, and collage. Students will be shown how to work on varied editions and introduce some mixed media techniques in their work. Prints will be generated by using a small press.

Class includes additional time, right after class. Students can stay and work after class on their own until 3:00 PM.

Refunds between January 7 and April 1 are subject to a $50 admin fee. If a refund is requested between April 1 and June 1, we are only able to refund 50% of the tuition paid. After June 1, refunds will only be issued if the space is filled by someone from the waitlist.
