FRONT/PORCH
Rock and folk harmonies on a Pasadena front porch
Monday, May 5, 2014 at 7:30PM

Robert R. Blacker House
1177 Hillcrest Ave.
Pasadena, CA 91106

Join us for a boisterous celebration on the front porch of the historic Blacker House where we will reclaim our American roots at a MUSE/IQUE style neighborhood party! Early twentieth century architects Greene and Greene were revolutionary in creating the American house as renegade art, and across the coast, roots music of Appalachia began shaping the country in tunes that struck the core of our spirit. From this, a cultural voice emerged, revived by Pete Seeger, and belonging to all Americans. We honor these revolutionaries in the most fitting way possible – a lively shindig featuring Trio Mestizo performing traditional music of the Americas and the Moonsville Collective, a high energy Americana String Band full of rich harmonies, banjos, fiddles and mandolins. - See more at: http://muse-ique.com/showinfo.php?id=18#sthash.8iAwtiSs.dpuf
