City Ballet, Edith Ballet Academy, MOvMNT Dance Company, and Kahraman Dance are collaborating to present Winter Dances on November 24th at the CCPA. It is a beautiful work of art choreographed by the Barragans, Lovar Davis Kidd, and Fritha Coltrain featuring more than 30 student dancers aged 5 to 20. The audience will be whisked away into a magical winter-land filled with flowers and fairies where dancers from around the globe--Russia, Spain, China, France, and the Arab world will be celebrating the holidays in a feast of multicultural celebration with a music from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker".
