A one night epic singing competition where 10 brave and shameless souls compete for the title of Smackdown Champion where the winner will defend their title the following month. Each Smackdown will have a theme (ie. 80's night, heavy metal night..) and audiences will be strongly encouraged to dress accordingly for the end of show costume contest and prizes. The music for the contestants will also reflect the night's theme. ROUND ONE: 10 pre-selected contestants will compete live with a prepared song they memorize from a list of 20 songs they can choose from ahead of time. ROUND TWO: The final 4 contestants (selected by the judges with audience support) will then compete in a karaoke smackdown where they sing on the spot (with karaoke help of course) another song from the list assigned by the judges. The winner will be selected by the judges with audience input from in house voting via Twitter and Facebook. THE JUDGES: Our three judges for the event will include local comedian, a character from one of either What If? or Threshold's current theatrical production and one legitimate (or maybe semi-legitimate) artistic judge to round out the three.
