6:30pm VIP Reception | 7:30pm Film Screening

Two hapless freight handlers find themselves encountering Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man. Red Bull Theater hosts a film screening of this classic 1948 side-splitting comedy, one of the many inspirations for Charles Ludlam's The Mystery of Irma Vep, which will have its 30th Anniversary revival at Red Bull Theater in 2014. Irma Vep director and member of the original Ridiculous Theater Company, Everett Quinton, will participate in a post-screening discussion with Roy Frumkes, SVA professor and independent filmmaker specializing in the horror genre. Oh and everyone gets free popcorn! Join us at 6:30pm for wine, beer, and snacks at a pre-screening VIP reception with Red Bull Theater special guests for just $40 (includes movie ticket and popcorn). All proceeds benefit Red Bull Theater's upcoming production of The Mystery of Irma Vep.
