Theaterlab presents: Hotel New Work, a curated series that takes a close look at making, seeing, discussing theatre and dance works in an open studio setting.

Hotel New Work opens it’s first segment February 23, 2014 with “Revealing Dances”: 4 installments invented by Melissa Riker of Kinesis Project and Jeremy Williams of Convergences Theatre Collective.

Revealing Dances invites you directly into moments of creation. You won't see any finished pieces, just diamonds in the rough. Revealing Dances urges you to revel in the intimacy of the creation process as both enriching and entertaining. Theaterlab hosts Kinesis Project and Convergences Theatre Collective as they work in tandem over six weeks, developing separate pieces in neighboring studios. Each afternoon will be framed with a series of questions about making, working and living creatively.
