Come as the group takes you on a journey through the family of percussion instruments. Remember a percussion instrument is anything you can Scrape! Shake! or Strike! to produce a sound. The group will play a variety of traditional percussion instruments such as marimba, xylophone, rope drum, drumset, bongos and djembe, just to name a few. In addition, the group will play some not so standard percussion instruments - so beware!

This interactive family concert includes an instrument building workshop 30 minutes prior to the concert where audience members not only enjoy the music but help to create it. The group of rebel-rousing musicians led by music director Michael Sgouros includes 16 year-old percussionist Emily Sgouros
