ENTANGLED, adapted by Victoria Zackheim and directed by Ellie Mednick, from the memoir Entangled: A Chronicle of Late Love (by Don Asher and Lois Goodwill), will have its premier staged reading on Monday, April 21, at 8 PM.

Don, age 80, and Sarah, 69, have been in a comfortable relationship for more than twenty years. When they attend her son's wedding, Sarah is captivated by Vernon, an Irishman and former priest who shares her love of travel, theater, gardening, and brisk walks. Musician Don is mildly jealous, yet assuaged by the certainty that Vernon is gay. On the day Sarah announces, "Guess who isn't gay?" the delicate balance shifts...and then collapses. Sarah moves Don out of her home and throws herself into the passionate relationship she's been longing to have. In Entangled, we learn that dreams fulfilled can be heaven...or hell.
