Aparna Nancherla can't get out of bed and missed all her deadlines. How did it come to this? Join her search for answers in a stunningly reasonable evening of "Fine, I'll stand up" comedy with back-up vocals by self deflection, creative malaise, and professional crastination. Don't miss it; she already did.

Featuring Aparna Nancherla
With Janine Brito, Naomi Ekperigin, Jacqueline Novak & Julio Torres

Welcome to Aparna Nancherla's Bio-dome! A little bit about her: she’s a joke entrepreneur who pedals in both writing and performance (AKA scribble-scrabble and jibber-jabber). She recently wrote for and sometimes appeared on the late, great Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, on FX-then-FXX.
Aparna’s comedic goggles are bone dry and pop-quizzically observational and her act tips it's hat at both whimsy and absurdism.
Her artistic journey took off in Washington D.C. (It’s all about the Washingtons), but she now resides in the biggest apple in the gosh darn world.

Other twinkles include appearances on @midnight and Conan, being named as one of Time Magazine‘s 140 Top Tweeters of 2014, along with LA Weekly‘s "12 Comedy Acts to Watch,” Serial Optimist’s “10 Comics You Must Know,” Splitsider’s “10 Up-and-Coming Comedians on Each Coast” and being a New Face at the 2013 Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival. She has also had the privilege of being on the WTF Podcast with Marc Maron, The Nerdist Podcast with Chris Hardwick, Last Comic Standing, NPR, Laughspin, Funny or Die, Cosmopolitan, Reader's Digest, The Huffington Post, TimeOut NY, The Washington Post Magazine and Slate V. She also just appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia and has also performed as SXSW, SF Sketchfest, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival and the Great American Comedy Festival.

P.S. Every time someone reads this, a puppet gets its strings. You did it!!!
