Naomi Iizuka's Polaroid Stories is a visceral union of classical mythology and interviews from real life street kids. The play takes place in an underworld populated by homeless youths whose trials and triumphs mirror those of their legendary counterparts. A lyrical poetry of curses and violence, sex and deception, drugs and redemption, music and transformation, Polaroid Stories is a visual and auditory punch to the senses that reveals a new mythology for modern times.
