INsite, by LUFTWERK, will transform the Farnsworth House into a canvas of light and sound. Ten video projections will display a cohesive, fluid video composition accompanied by original music by percussionist Owen Clayton Condon. Visitors are invited during the exhibit to see the site in a unique setting after sunset and experience INsite from both the exterior and interior of the house. Opening night will include a guest speaker Dirk Lohan, live music performance by Condon, and a special performance by artist group Rooms Gallery. Hors d’oeuvres, wine and refreshments will be provided. INsite is curated by Steve Dietz, President and Artistic Director of Northern Lights.mn and is made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign with special thanks to Hiroko Osaka, Bess Wiersema / studio3 and AV Chicago, support from Northern Lights.mn through an award from the National Endowment for the Arts and NEC Display Solutions.
