WAA~MU 2015: GOLD
Friday, May 1, 2015 at 7:30PM

Cahn Auditorium
600 Emerson
Evanston, IL 60208
Located at the corner of Sheridan and Emerson on the Evanston Campus of Northwestern University

The Waa-Mu Show's quirky name stands for the two organizations that banded together to present the first show in 1929, the Women's Athletic Association (W.A.A.) and the Men's Union (M.U.)!

The 84th Annual WAA-MU SHOW is proud to announce the 2015 production of GOLD, an original full-length musical inspired by the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. GOLD tells the story of ambitious athletes on their quest for glory at one of the most celebrated international competitions in history. The political unrest surrounding the growing Nazi regime brings a newfound tension to the traditional camaraderie and spirit of the games. The individuals who have trained their entire lives for this defining moment must, in the end, find the will to achieve their own personal best in a triumphant moment of shared victory. The new stage work is written, composed, choreographed and co-produced by more than 100 Northwestern students.
