WTF is Karaoke Smackdown? A one night epic singing competition where 10 brave and shameless souls compete for the title of Smackdown Champion where the winner will defend their title the following Smackdown. THEME Each Smackdown will have a theme (ie. 80's night, heavy metal night..) and audiences will be strongly encouraged to dress accordingly for the end of show costume contest and prizes. The music for the contestants will also reflect the night's theme. ROUND ONE: 10 pre-selected contestants (see below how to sign up) will compete live with a prepared song they memorize from a list of 20 songs they can choose from ahead of time. ROUND TWO: The final 4 contestants (selected by the judges with audience support) will then compete in a karaoke smackdown where they sing on the spot (with karaoke help of course) another song from the list assigned by the judges. The winner will be selected by the judges with audience input. Bar will be available for the purchase of beer and wine.
