Threshold Rep & What If? Productions host a battle of shameless souls to be the next Karaoke Smackdown champion! Each Smackdown will have a theme (ie. 80's night, heavy metal night..) and audiences will be strongly encouraged to dress accordingly for the end of show costume contest and prizes. The music for the contestants will also reflect the night's theme. 8 pre-selected contestants will compete live with a prepared song they memorize from a list of 20 songs they can choose ahead of time.The final 4 contestants (selected by the judges with audience support) will then compete in a karaoke smackdown where they sing on the spot (with karaoke help of course) another song from the list assigned by the judges. The winner will be selected by the judges with audience input from in house voting.
