15CU1: Dead Man's Cell Phone
Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 8:00PM

Glicker-Milstein Theatre
Diana Center
New York, NY 10027

Dead Man’s Cellphone will be presented by CU Players, held in the GMT on March 5, 6, and 7. Dead Man’s Cell Phone opens in a nondescript café where Gordon and Jean sit at tables opposite each other. Gordon is dead and thus does not answer his phone when it rings. After a few annoying calls, Jean answers it and afterwards becomes the proud guardian of a dead man’s cell phone, beginning to become a part of the life he once lived. This play, written by Sarah Ruhl, speaks to how we communicate and form relationships in the modern, technology-focused world.
