Modeled after the all-day performance pageants that marked Henry Street's early years, Will Rawls’ newest work is a two-day choreographic installation of dance, readings and spatial interventions. Using the combined architecture of The Playhouse and Abrons Arts Center as a frame, Settlement House explores the cultural agglomeration, idealism, and dissonance that are foundational to the history and legacy of this site.
