*Please note: All classes will be held at Irish Arts Center, 553 West 51st Street, New York, NY, 10019, with the exception of Monday, November 9, which will be at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue between 35th and 36th street, 4th floor.
With dances such as the Four-Hand Reel and the High Cauled Cap, céilís are traditional dances done in groups of 4, 8, or even 16 dancers. Beginners and experienced dancers alike will have fun while working on basic footwork, forms, technique, and musicality.
Students in all dance classes should wear shorts or workout pants and a t-shirt. For footwear, sneakers, ballet shoes or Ghillies are best.
