It’s impossible to crown any one performer as country music’s biggest star, but Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash would all be near the top of any list. Each broke barriers and changed country music and popular culture forever. "Sweet Dreams & Honky Tonks" is a new revue that presents the best loved songs of these classic artists along with stories of their colorful lives and careers. Stars Tom Waselchuk and Lindsey Juarez. Tom Waselchuk’s career covers three decades an amazingly diverse number of music styles. Tom recently completed a ten year association playing Gypsy swing music with the national and international touring quartet, Harmonious Wail. He is a producer, a singer-song writer, a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, pedal steel guitar, bass), and has worked with some of the most respected players and bands in the Mid-west. Lindsey (Giese) Juarez, a Viterbo '07 alum, is excited to return to La Crosse and perform in the beautiful Weber Center. Her most notable roles at Viterbo were as Shelby in "The Spitfire Grill" directed by David Gardner and as Lanie in "Two Rooms" directed by Rick Walters. She was also actively involved in the Platinum Edition Show Choir for 4 years. Giese Juarez graduated with a double major in Arts Administration and Music Theatre and worked throughout college in a professional 50s show at the Wisconsin Dells and also as the Assistant Business Manager at the Black Hills Playhouse in South Dakota. After college, she spent 4 years as the lead singer on Holland America and Celebrity Cruises.
